Pulling my credit when i was already approved, part2?

It wasn't a preapproved offer.... I never used the card. My thing is I declined for them to pull my credit. All they had to say is I would have to apply again because that account was no longer a account and that would have been the end of it. Fine print may be right, but I no longer had an account with them if I had to have my credit pull, which I respectfully declined that offer. Just doesn't seem fair, but hey that's life! Thanks you all for the info.
